Hello friends, family, and devoted readers.
It is now the 22 week mark, and we are excited about that. Eva has been riding a rollercoaster of feeling decent and disgusting. We recently traveled to Chicago for our very close friend’s wedding. Our Docs at Duke told us not to worry, “Your cervix looks like Fort Knox.” Which we are stoked about.
The trip to Chicago did have its pit falls. The flight was miserable for her. The changes in altitude and pressure made Eva’s tummy feel like she was microwaving popcorn. Then came the vomitting and dehydration, top that off with a day at the hospital for fluid and monitoring, and that was our trip. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and we did enjoy as much as possible.
Eva went to Duke Hospital when we returned for more fluid. Had a miserable time there. I think we are going to switch to UNC. We really feel like we are not being followed close enough – we dont like being a number.
I took some photos tonight to comemorate our 22 week point. Here is a comparison of 19 weeks to 22 weeks. She is-a-growin!!
